SMF President, Mr. Douglas Foo was invited to an exclusive sharing session with India Prime Minister Narendra Modi together with leaders of different industries from Singapore and India on 31 May 2018.
2 June 2018 – SMF President, Mr. Douglas Foo was invited to an exclusive sharing session with India Prime Minister Narendra Modi together with leaders of different industries from Singapore and India on 31 May 2018. Mr. Foo also interacted with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Minister S. Iswaran and PM Modi at Inspreneur 2.0, an event that SMF supported.
To reinforce business cooperation with our India counterpart, Mr. Foo renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on 1 June 2018 at SMF Building. The MOU will promote healthy exchange of business information, strengthening business relations and promote economic cooperation between the enterprises.
As what PM Modi said during his welcome address during Inspreneur 2.0, the bilateral ties between Singapore and India is “our heritage”. With the 14 MOUs signed between Singapore and India during PM Modi’s official visit, SMF look forward to stronger ties between both nations.

Mr. Foo and FICCI President, Mr. Rashesh Shah (left), renewed an MOU that was signed in 2013. The MOU aims promote economic cooperation between both enterprises.
