SMF Go Digital with SMART App

25 April 2018 - Singapore Food Manufacturers will now be able to protect their brand in the overseas market with our SMF SMART app.

After signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with i-Sprint to develop the SMF SMART app in January 2018, the SMF SMART app is launched and ready to use! Launched in April 2018 during the Food Hotel Asia 2018, the SMART app helps consumers/product buyers to check the authenticity of the product immediately after purchase. Simply use the app and scan the QR code that bears the words “Scan for Authenticity”, and the app will immediately notify you whether the product is genuine. 

The SMF SMART app is running on the SMF SMART Product Authentication Platform that is powered by i-Sprint’s AccessRealTM solution, a brand protection solution for anti-counterfeiting, track and trace, and consumer marketing. It uses a bank-grade and clone-proof QR code solution, and is used in highly sensitive industries such as financial institutions. This further assures users that the same kind of security measures are applied on the products, proving the authenticity of the product.
